Crowd-Sourced Glaucoma Study (CSGS)

Venlig hilsen

Dansk GlaukomSelskab.

OFFICIELLE INDBYDELSE.

We would like to invite you to participate in the Crowd-Sourced Glaucoma Study (CSGS). The goal of this study is to develop diagnostic criteria of glaucoma for clinical research, based on the combined assessments of a large number of glaucoma experts. Collaborators from 15 countries have supplied optic disc photographs, visual field and OCT reports to create a dataset containing hundreds of cases, ranging from healthy to advanced glaucoma. We would like you to participate by evaluating some of these cases and providing your assessment on their likelihood of glaucoma.

You may have received an invitation to participate in the CSGS through other sources. Colleagues from many countries have contributed; however, if you have not already done so, we would sincerely appreciate your involvement.

Depending on the number of cases you evaluate, your participation should take between 30 minutes to 2 hours. You will be able to pause and resume the task as frequently as required while the study is active. Your responses will be de-identified.

Please visit the study webpage (https://crowdsourcedglaucomastudy.org) for more details and to participate.

As recognition of your participation, we will make the study data available to you (subject to regulatory requirements) after the primary findings of the study are published. We believe this will be a very rich and unique resource for researchers and educators. Additionally, you will have access to a future Review stage of the study, where your evaluations can be compared to all other evaluators.

We believe the glaucoma community will benefit greatly from the CSGS, which can be possible only with the input of a large number of evaluators. We sincerely look forward to your participation. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us (Denne e-mail adresse bliver beskyttet mod spambots. Du skal have JavaScript aktiveret for at vise den.).

Kind regards,

Jayme Vianna, MD
